Bedford Lighting had been a small established lighting showroom in Bedford Hills, New York, before its acquisition by Drew Nichols in June of 1992. In an effort to keep up with the expanding design of lighting products and manufacturers, the physical expansion of the showroom became necessary to display a larger selection of products for our customers. While increasing the physical space, the addition of home accessories such as mirrors, lampshades, ceiling fans and small furniture accented the “boutique” atmosphere.

While displaying the highest quality and design available from the lighting industry, we provide individualized attention and specialized assistance to customers looking for one fixture or a whole architectural lighting plan. Accomplished designers, architects and custom home builders like the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere we provide to meet and work with their clients.

Product quality and customer satisfaction are the primary goals of Bedford Lighting and Home. With the evolution of many lighting manufacturers outsourcing production of goods, we have focused our selection to national suppliers with a focus on quality and timeless design. As an exclusive Casablanca ceiling fan distributor, we provide sales and service for this leading fan manufacturer. We also provide electrical restoration for chandeliers and portable lamps.

As we enter into 2009, our attention will be in the expansion and education of our customers to new and energy efficient products, while offering their inherent economical solutions. We look forward to working with you and servicing all your lighting needs.

Our customers can be confident the information we obtain from them is used for the sole purpose of their order. We obtain phone numbers, addresses and email information to advise of order status only.

Return Policy

We take pride in our sales department's ability to assist our customers by ensuring all merchandise ordered meets customer satisfaction. This is accomplished by recommending size, style and price requirements. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied, returns are for store credit or exchange. We cannot accept returns on any merchandise installed or not in original packaging with all parts. All "customized, final sale or discontinued merchandise" is not returnable. All returns must be processed within 30 days.

Shipping Policy

In stock merchandise is shipped within 24 hours from our showroom under normal circumstances. Upon receipt of your merchandise, please inspect packaging to ensure satisfaction. If packaging appears to be damaged in transit please have the driver make note of this and determine if merchandise should be signed for. Contact us within 24 hours to dispute any issues with a shipment. Replacement merchandise will be expedited to the best of our ability. Prior to calling or emailing for a return authorization, please have your original receipt in order to provide date of purchase and item number.
